Valley Ridge is located on County Road 5 & Burnsville Parkway in Burnsville. The building is a joint venture between the Dakota County Community Development Agency (CDA) and Presbyterian Homes & Services.

The independent living units are part of the CDA's Senior Housing Program which provides affordable independent living apartments for seniors age 55+. Currently there are 26 developments located throughout Dakota County.

Applicants of the CDA's Senior Housing Program must meet eligibility requirements prior to becoming a resident of the program. This includes meeting program income guidelines, providing good landlord references and passing a criminal history check. Preference is given to seniors who live, work or have immediate family living in Dakota County.

The assisted living and memory care units are part of Presbyterian Homes & Services. Monthly fees for the assisted living apartments are anticipated to start at approximately $2,300 and memory care units at $4,450. Both fees include a base level fo care and additional care fees may also apply.
